Buhari condoles Katsina’s Emir on mother’s death

THE Presidency said on Sunday that President Muhammadu Buhari has placed a telephone call from London to the Emir of Katsina, Alhaji Abdulmumini Usman, over the death of his mother, which occurred on Saturday.A statement issued by his spokesman, Femi Adesina, said Buhari condoled with the traditional ruler, urging him to take solace in the fact that Hajia Aminatu Mai Babban Daki lived a good life, devoted to serving Allah and humanity.

FG inaugurates Committee on Children Accident Prevention Project.

The Implementation/Technical Committee was set up by the Minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu to implement the terms and conditions of the collaboration between the Ministry and Children Accident Prevention Initiatives (CAPI) on the project.Speaking during the inauguration on the Permanent Secretary, Dr Jamila Shua’ra, described the initiative to provide safe environment for school children between ages 4 and 14, using the roads as apt and timely.
