Ondo police arrest notorious armed robbers , recover stolen Benz

Two notorious armed robbers, Olajide Olayato and Amonimo Johnson known as Akebaje, have been arrested by man of the Ondo state Police Command.The two suspects and two others, now at large invaded the home of Kolawole Emiola in Abusoro area of the state capital and forcefully made away with his Mercedes Benz C240 with Registration Number Abuja KUJ 700 KZ and three of his mobile number.
Speaking on the development, the State Commissioner of Police, Hilda Harrison, said his men swung into action.

DSS detains five personnel over teachers’ brutalisation in Calabar

Mudiaga Affe, Calabar Five personnel of the Department of State Services have been detained in connection with thebrutalisation of teachersat the Federal Government Girls College in Calabar.It was learnt on Wednesday that the five officials were being detained in the cell of the Cross River State Command of DSS in Calabar. A DSS source, who craved anonymity, said the affected personnel were arrested almost immediately the incident occurred on February 2 for going against the rules and regulations.
