WAEC Extends 2017 May/June WASSCE Registration Closing Date to february 14th,2017.

The closing date for registration for the WASSCE for School Candidates, 2017 has been shifted to February 14, 2017.From the information reaching us, we wish to inform all the schools presenting candidates for the 2017 May/June West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for School Candidates that the registration has been extended to February 14, 2017.
Uploading of entries will, therefore, be allowedup to 12.00 midnight on that date, when the registration portal will beshut down.

DSS detains five personnel over teachers’ brutalisation in Calabar

Mudiaga Affe, Calabar Five personnel of the Department of State Services have been detained in connection with thebrutalisation of teachersat the Federal Government Girls College in Calabar.It was learnt on Wednesday that the five officials were being detained in the cell of the Cross River State Command of DSS in Calabar. A DSS source, who craved anonymity, said the affected personnel were arrested almost immediately the incident occurred on February 2 for going against the rules and regulations.
