Senate Extend Joint Admission & Matriculation Board (JAMB) Exam Result Validity to 3 Years

The Nigerian Senate today passed the amendment to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board’s Act into law. In the amendment, the the Senate strengthenedthe Board to allow the results of students in the annual examination be valid for more than one year.This implies that JAMB result is expected to now be valid for more than a year.

FG inaugurates Committee on Children Accident Prevention Project.

The Implementation/Technical Committee was set up by the Minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu to implement the terms and conditions of the collaboration between the Ministry and Children Accident Prevention Initiatives (CAPI) on the project.Speaking during the inauguration on the Permanent Secretary, Dr Jamila Shua’ra, described the initiative to provide safe environment for school children between ages 4 and 14, using the roads as apt and timely.
